Just three miles outside of Nottingham you will find Mapperley Golf Club, a fine location for a round of golf and one that will have you licking your lips with anticipation as soon as you clap eyes on it. It is laid out some fine springy turf and offers fabulous panoramic view of the surrounding countryside, a truly breathtaking spectacle to behold indeed.

At 6307 yards in length from the first tee to the eighteenth pin, it is a good length and poses a fair test of golf, no matter how experienced a golfer you are.

Founded in 1903, it is also one of the older courses in Nottinghamshire, worth checking out if for that fact alone.
