The Kingfisher Golf Club is so called, in part at least, because the popular little birds are known to frequently swoop across the fairways, many of which are bordered by picturesque, attractive little lakes. Don't be too preoccupied or fooled by the water features however, as they have been the undoing of many a golfer in the past who perhaps wasn't concentrating as much as he perhaps should have been.

The club was established in 1994, and is consequently celebrating its tenth birthday this year. In that time, it has built up a great reputation amongst club golfers in the region and its membership continues to grow and expand with each passing year.
