He and his sons, Andrew and David, battled through the jungle of planning permissions and local objections to form this magnificent enterprise-surely Welton's jewel in the crown and prize asset.

The fairways are wide and flat, bordered by extensive plantings of young trees, a huge investment in the future, making this course both beautiful and challenging for rookie and expert alike.
