Spalding Golf Club

Spalding Golf Club, located on the outskirts of the town, is an 18-hole, 6,478 yard par 71 course in an established parkland setting with numerous water hazards including a drive on the second over the River Glen.

The course is not particularly long but blustery conditions, strategically placed bunkers and sloping greens make a very enjoyable round.

Spalding has a bit of everything: interesting, challenging holes and more than a few tricky approach shots to some of the greens.

The ninth hole is often a favourite. It is a par three where the green is protected by a small pond. Don't worry if you stick your ball in there - you're not the first and you most certainly won't be the last. Great value for money.
