Sandilands Golf Club is an 18 hole links course with a par of 70 and a standard scratch of 69.
The course had always been noted its outstanding greens, dryness and facility for all-year round golf. Because it is privately owned the club ensures that visitors are given every degree of comfort on and off the course. The comfortable clubhouse is situated adjacent to the car park and just one minute's drive from the hotel and 150 yards from the sea wall and a very pleasant bathing beach. From the first and 18th holes you can be assured of a welcome by the local members who are mainly retired people, renowned for their friendliness, helpfulness and charm.
