Carholme Golf Club

With its stunning views of Lincoln Cathedral and much of the surrounding countryside, it is easy to see why Carholme is such a popular parkland course with so many people, especially its young golf enthusiasts who make up one of the most successful junior club sides in the country.

Its par 70, eighteen holes are designed to test golfers of all standards and abilities. The fifth is particularly challenging with a pond protecting the bunkered green, so an accurate approach is essential. Choose your clubs wisely from the tee also as lateral water hazards interrupt several fairways. And if the west wind blows, be prepared for an altogether more demanding round as it can seriously hinder your performance.
