Kirby Muxloe Golf Club

Certainly one of the oldest golf courses in the Leicestershire district can be found for the statistic fans at Kirby Muxloe Golf Club. It first threw open its doors to golfers in 1893 and so is now in its 112th year. It is laid out on partly undulating, luscious, verdant parkland and, at only £25 for a round at anytime during the week, it is well worth trying out.

Its eighteen holes span well in excess of 6279 yards and there are a few tricky long holes, so you might find yourself reaching for your driver quite a lot and really letting rip with it. There are also a whole load of hazards to successfully negotiate for a scorecard you can boast about.
