Werneth Golf Club

Centenary celebrations are due to take place at Werneth Golf Club in 2008, and preparations are well underway already. To be part of all the fun, therefore, now is the time to get along to the club - which is only five miles from Manchester - and enjoy some great company in the clubhouse with the friendly members, not forgetting of course, to get in some great golf on the fine moorland course on offer.

It is only a short course, measuring 5346 yards from the tee on the first to the pin on the eighteenth, but it has a par of 68 suggesting there is plenty to keep you on your toes throughout. Beware the water features on several of the holes.
