Opened in 1943, Tunshill Golf Club remains as popular a choice amongst golfers today as it did when it first opened almost sixty years ago. It only has nine-hole but can be played as an eighteen-hole for which it measures 5743 yards and has a par of 70 - a good indication indeed of the challenges that you are bound to encounter here.

Set on luscious moorland, there are severely rolling fairways, and some tight approach shots to be played to well protected greens, so your short game will be tested to the absolute limit. At £8 per round during the week, and a costing a further £1.50 at weekends, it represents fine value for money also.
