Shaw Hill Golf Club

Opened to the golfing community for the first time in 1925, Shaw Hill Golf Club offers a course that is a fine test of golf for players of all standards and abilities. Boasting Championship length and standards, it was designed by T McCauley, a leading golf architect of the first half of the twentieth century, and spans 6405 yards over eighteen holes, giving a par of 72.

The course is laid out on luxurious undulating and verdant parkland and completely envelopes the Georgian Manor House that sits on its grounds. Water hazards are provided by a subtle array of lakes and streams so be on your guard with each shot to avoid being punished by them.
