Perhaps not the longest course in the district, measuring little over 6000 yards from the tee on the first hole to the pin on the eighteenth, the course at Old Manchester Golf Club should not be underestimated as a result. It is laid out on undulating parkland, that is particularly severe in places, so accuracy from the pin, as well as good knowledge of you irons, is at an absolute premium here.

It is also in a convenient and easy to reach location, situated as it is just outside of Manchester town centre. Since it first opened its doors to golfers, it has built up a steady and committed membership.
