Manchester Golf Club

Founded in 1882, Manchester Golf Club is home to one of the most fondly-revered golf courses in the north of England. Situated at Hopwood Park, the 18-hole championship-standard course was designed by Harry Colt and is a superb mixture of parkland and moorland spanning some 240 acres.

There are a variety of holes, each with their own distinct challenge, and stand-outs include the devilishly tough sixth and the fantastic par-3 13th. The closing stretch of holes, meanwhile, from the 15th in, are broadly considered to be amongst the most challenging in the whole of the north of England.
