Houghwood is one of those courses that you simply cannot wait to play again. It enjoys a near perfect backdrop, with stunning views over the Lancashire Plains and Welsh Hills. With large USGA specification greens, this rolling, natural parkland course is a superb test of golf for all abilities. Houghwood was constructed in the mid-1990s amidst some 132 acres. A permanent buggy track enables a fleet of 30 buggies to be on course all year round. The specially designed stone clubhouse houses a popular spike bar,and first floor restaurant ideal for some post-round respite.
