Heysham Golf Club

Although only a well struck 8-iron from the lapping waters of the sea, Heysham is not a links course but more of a luscious inland layout that is often struck by heady wind. With this wind, seven par fours of over 400-yards can be quite gruelling at times. At the heart of the course are 19 acres of marshland designated as a reserve for flora and fauna, where foxes, deer, many species of birds and wild life find sanctuary.

The elevated part of the course has views across Morecambe Bay to the Lakeland hills in the North and Pennines in the East.
