Opened only in the mid-1990s, this was part of the second golf boom. The first came 100 years ago when many clubs were first designed and created. The second boom came around the close of the last century as, around Britain, great areas of farmland were converted into golf courses.

The scene is a delight, a grand colonial-style clubhouse with the spectacular fountain outside, the views inland to distant hills, great fairways and manicured greens, trees and lakes. Brilliant!
