Set deep in the Lancashire countryside, with views of the local countryside and far beyond, Duxbury Park Golf Club is a fine place to while away a leisurely morning or afternoon. It is set on wooded parkland, fine terrain to challenge the ability of any golfer - whether high or low handicapper - and sprawls through the landscape for 5843 yards. This makes it by no means the longest golf course in the area, but the standard scratch score of 70 certainly gives you a good indication of the challenges that lie in wait for you.

During the week, it will also only cost you £10 per round, and classes are available from the club pro for anyone whose game needs some work.
