Denton Golf Club

The marvellous new clubhouse at Denton golf club, opened in 1998, offers wonderful views of this picturesque parkland course, looking out over the fifteenth green and beyond into the Lancashire countryside.

The eighteen holes span 6443 yards and are a test to all levels of golfer. The sixteenth in particular is a huge challenge, a monstrous, 461 yard par 4. The fairway is extremely narrow and is protected midway up by bunkers left and right, and water hazards to the left, as well as a large pond to the left. As you make your approach to the green be wary of the two bunkers either side guarding it. This is truly a hole where any stray shot will be punished and so concentration is key.
