Charnock Richard Golf Club

Still relatively new, having only been opened in 1994, Charnock Richard golf club offers a testing parkland course situated on the A49 and only a few minutes drive from Camelot Theme Park in Lancashire.

As well as numerous, tricky water features to contend with, the course' signature sixth hole is daunting even for the average scratch golfer. Five hundred and twelve yards long, two ponds and several bunkers line the fairway, so a big, straight drive is essential, as is a good approach onto the island-set green.

With excellent facilities for juniors and women, it is no surprise that this course is especially popular with families, particularly during the warmer, summer months.
