The tees and the greens are usually in brilliant condition and, because it is by the sea, the course enjoys good year-round condition.

A few holes are a bit hilly so be sure to save your energy on occasion. It is quite a links-style course with only a few smallish trees dotted about - not too much trouble to get into if you happen to spray it a little wide off the tee.

Split into three sections by the railway line and a road, the course can be quite susceptible to wind. If it blows like it can, you'll be doing well to keep your swing in check.
