An interesting golf course with many ups and downs. It looks relatively easy on the card but demands precision play to shoot your handicap.

Set in beautiful Wealden countryside, the parkland course offers some splendid views. Tenterden stars with a superb short hole, an uphill par three where the smart play is to lay-up short of the green and play for a chip and put par.

Stronger players should aim for the left side of the green and fade the ball in towards the pin. Any ball finishing left of the green leaves a straight forward pitch into the slope of the putting surface.

The course also finishes with a par three, giving you the opportunity to hit the green in regulation with your opening and closing 'approach' shots.

How to Get there
Leave the M20 at junction 9; head towards Tenterden on the A28. Just before Tenterden, fork left onto the B2080 heading for Appledore /New Romney. Signposted to Rare Breeds Centre. Take 2nd on the left Â– B2067 heading for Hythe.
