Orpintom Golf Centre - Cray Valley

Normally, pay-and-play courses aren't everyone's cup of tea for obvious reason; the courses are either neglected, the conditions of the facilities are poor the courses are almost in need of a makeover. But Orpintom Golf Centre (Cray Valley course), a neat, challenging 18-holer in Kent, is the opposite of all that.

Extensive drainage programmes have been undertaken in recent years meaning the course now takes water with much less hassle than in previous years. Proof of this comes with the fact that, when other nearby pay-and-play facilities are closed due to wet weather, Cray Valley is welcoming golfers to its fairways.

The course itself is of parkland variety and is fairly open, easy walking and offers a variety of challenges to players of all abilities. A nine-hole par 32 course is also available.
