Aquarius Golf Club

Founded in 1913, Aquarius Golf Club is one of the older golf clubs in the area and is also one of the best, having been given a new lease of life in recent years by a greenkeeper who is said to be 'working wonders' on the course.

The Aquarius course is laid out on two levels around and over a covered reservoir. The first and eighth holes are incredibly hard to make par and boast hazards such as vents and bollards.

It is a course that's designed for golfers who hit the ball straight as every hole has internal out-of-bounds on both sides of the fairway. The greens are reasonably small which makes target golf fairly hard.

Visitors welcome with members. Handicap certificate required.
