Founded in 1891, Douglas golf club offers a fabulous course in magnificent surroundings. It operates on a pay and play basis, so offers excellent value for money also.

Meticulously maintained and tended to by its steadfastly committed greenskeepers, there are many challenging holes to test beginners and advanced golfers alike. The par three 17th, in particular, requires good-thinking, a good knowledge of your clubs and pin-point accuracy as you drive from your elevated tee to the green which is some 200 yards below. Similarly, the par four 2nd is a demanding hole, with a good drive essential to give you the best possible placing.
