Golf in Seattle

Known for its Jimi Hendrix connections, sloppy love films and world-renowned coffee shops, Seattle is a city that's full of character. It is situated at the most northern latitude of any major city in the USA outside of Alaska. Bounded by rolling green hills, snow covered mountains and bright blue waters, it is one of America's most beautiful cities.

Its mild winters and relatively cool summers make the make the city look a lush shade of green, hence its nickname 'The Emerald City'.

Because of its climate there are a wealth of outdoor pursuits to enjoy, including rock climbing, fishing and hiking. Of course, no great city is complete without a number of top golf courses nearby and Seattle doesn't let golfing enthusiasts down.

There are plenty of public and private courses to choose from and the tour operators listed on this page will be able to get you a tee time and a green fee that suits your travelling party.
West Seattle is a great course with wonderful views of downtown Seattle and Elliot Bay. Jefferson Park, in the Beacon Hill region southwards of the city, should also be one your itinerary, as should Jackson Park.

Once you've had you fun on the golf course take the time to visit the sights, especially the waterfront, Ballard Locks and Shilshole Bay Marina.
