Welwyn Garden City Golf Club has established quite a formidable reputation for itself since it first opened in 1923 based upon designs by Hawtree and Son. Nowadays it is held in high regard and is extremely popular amongst club golfers from all across Hertfordshire. A members' club, it provides friendly and competitive golf for all players on a challenging 6108 yard, 18 hole parkland course. It has a whole list of hazards littered around the course, including some very narrow fairways, well protected greens and some fairways bunkers that all make accuracy at even more of a premium than usual. After your round, you can kick back and enjoy a pleasant drink and snack in the clubhouse with the friendly members of the club. GREEN FEE KEY: £1-£15=£ £16-£30 = ££ £31-£50 = £££ £50+ =££££ |
