At 6854 yards in total from the tee on the first to the pin on the eighteenth, the course at Great Hadam Golf Club is amongst the longest in the region and so will command your utmost attention and plenty of stamina from start to finish. There are some exceptionally long holes here, which will no doubt be music to the ears of the bigger hitters amongst you. However, whilst you will relish the opportunity to really let rip from the tees, be aware of the hazards that are scattered all around the course - stray shots very rarely go unpunished.
Unusually for a course in Hertfordshire, it is laid out on meadowland, which perhaps explains its appeal amongst so many club golfers in the region.
