Dave Thomas has been responsible for many of the courses that have popped up across England in the last decade or so, but none quite as spectacular as the one at Batchworth Park Golf Club. It measures a colossal 6723 yards from the first tee to the eighteenth pin and is therefore quite a long, demanding round, that will weigh heavy on the legs. It is worth every step and ache, however, as it offers plenty of opportunities for the big hitters to really let rip from the tees, and is quite forgiving on the odd stray one.
Maintained to meticulously high standards all throughout the year, it is a real treat to play no matter how experienced a golfer you are.
