For an island measuring nine miles by five, Jersey offers visiting golfers a rich selection of courses. There are three 18-hole championship courses, La Moye, Royal Jersey and Les Mielles Golf & Country Club. La Moye and Royal Jersey require proof of handicap but keen golfers who do not belong to a club are not left out, they can play at Les Mielles and three other venues - Jersey Recreation Grounds, Les Ormes Golf & Leisure Club and Wheatlands Golf Club. Located just before Gorey village, Royal Jersey is a challenging test of links golf and although not as long at La Moye - it stretches to just over 6,000-yards - it still presents a worthy challenge to any level of player.
