Hockley Golf Club has certainly belied its name over the years as many golfers who have left there with poor looking scorecards will no doubt testify. Since it first opened in 1914, based upon designs by the legendary James Braid, it has built up a formidable reputation amongst golf fans for the excellent challenge it poses to players of all levels of ability.
