Hockley Golf Club has certainly belied its name over the years as many golfers who have left there with poor looking scorecards will no doubt testify. Since it first opened in 1914, based upon designs by the legendary James Braid, it has built up a formidable reputation amongst golf fans for the excellent challenge it poses to players of all levels of ability. Whether high or low handicapper, you will find every shot in your bag being tested here.

It is laid out on undulating meadowland with some fairly tight fairways so accuracy is at an absolute premium here. Take it from us - you won't want to hit any of shots astray on this eighteen hole course.
