MATTHEW FITZPATRICK has been named among 12 players to form the England training squad for the 2012 and 2013 coaching programme.
Fitzpatrick, 18, has made rapid progress over the past four years, being capped at under-16 and boys’ levels, and is now on the verge of a full England cap.
The full England squad is: Matthew Fitzpatrick (Yorkshire), Jack Hiluta (Essex), Craig Hinton (BB&O), Nathan Kimsey
(Lincolnshire), Max Orrin (Kent), Garrick Porteuos (Northumberland), Neil Raymond (Hampshire, IoW & CI), Jamie Rutherford
(Hertfordshire), Callum Shinkwin (Hertfordshire), Jordan Smith (Wiltshire), Toby Tree (Sussex), and Josh White (Chipstead).
Also part of the squad but at college in the United States are Seb Crookall-Nixon (Cumbria), Ben Stow (Wiltshire), and Ben Taylor
(Surrey). Ten members of the home-based squad are full internationals while Fitzpatrick and Orrin are boy caps.
There are 13 players in the ‘A’ squad including English champion Harry Ellis, boy champion Patrick Kelly and Edward Richardson, an England cap in 2005 and 2006.

(Northamptonshire), Paul Howard (Lancashire), Patrick Kelly (Lincolnshire), Nick Marsh (Yorkshire), Edward Richardson (Kent), Michael Saunders (Kent), Darren Timms (Kent), Jerome Titlow (Kent), Darren Wasteney (Yorkshire).
Ellis also features in the 11-strong Boys’ training squad. It also includes Bobby Keeble, runner-up in the U18 Championship,
and Jack Hermeston, the 2011 U16 champion.
