Located just outside Avon, the course at Thornbury Golf Club isn't the longest in the region by any stretch of the imagination, but it certainly one of the most unique, individual and challenging. It spans just over 6100 yards from the tee on the first hole all the way round to the pin on the eighteenth, in return for a par of 70, but it has plenty of interesting features you to occupy yourself with and more than the occasional tricky hole to take on.

The fairways are gently rolling and there are plenty of approach shots to the greens that are all made all the more difficult by the well-placed bunkers guarding them.
