Situated two miles outside of Cheltenham, the fine course at Lilley Brook Golf Club has the considerable distinction of having been designed by Dr. Alister Mackenzie, the leading golf course architect who is responsible for the excellent design and layout of many of the best courses in the United Kingdom, and on occasion even further afield. It was founded in 1922 and is therefore in its 82nd year of entertaining and challenging golfers, who have only ever had positive things to say about it.
At 6212 yards in length from the first tee to the eighteenth pin, it is a considerable distance and so be sure to have plenty stamina for taking it on.
