Although situated just three miles outside the city centre of Bristol, the Knowle Golf Club is set in a very tranquil area of the country, with the bright lights and pizzazz of the town centre - whilst merely minutes' drive away - a distant memory as you plot your way round the course. It measures 6016 yards which is by no means the longest distance for an eighteen-hole course in Gloucestershire, but is a blessing given that it is set out on quite undulating turf.

You may feel slightly breathless after the opening stretch of holes, but don't be too concerned by that, as it levels out a bit more forgivingly on the inward nine.
