For the more adventurous and ambitious player, the par 3 sixth offers good hole-in-one prospects, although it is wise not to get too carried away, as the water hazards on the closing two holes can easily add a couple of extra strokes onto your scorecard. The cuisine in the clubhouse is also an incentive to try out this attractive course, having catered for such dignitaries as Lady Thatcher and the King of Malaysia since it opened in 1974 as a nine-hole course, before expanding to full-size twenty years later.
