Set amidst well matured, partly wooded parkland, the Mount Oswald golf club in Durham offers a picturesque and demanding eighteen-hole course. It sprawls over 6101 yards and features many natural hazards - including some strategically placed bunkers - which add character and challenge to excite every level of golfer, from beginner to experienced.
You will need to have a fairly comprehensive range of shots in your arsenal as some of the holes are particularly tricky and require that extra bit of skill. On the whole, however, it is an enjoyable course and welcomes non-members.
