The Knotty Hill golf centre just outside Sedgefield offers a comprehensive range of challenges to test all levels of golfer, whether high or low handicapper. It has two fabulous, eighteen hole parkland courses, both of which are quite long - the Princes course is 6577 yards whilst the Bishops is 6365 - and demanding.

The undulating fairways make play difficult and good knowledge of your clubs is essential if your approaches to the greens are to be successful. There are also many wooded areas on the course, as well as numerous water hazards, so any lapses in concentration can expect to be severely punished.
