Lyons Gate Golf Club is situated roughly ten miles to the north of Dorchester and only a short drive from Sherbone, making it easily accessible for players coming from a variety of locations.
It is a parkland layout with spectacular views and many believe it to be one of England's most beautiful nine-hole venues. Reason being, Lyons Gate is home to a quite sensational collection of wild flowers, many of which line the fairways and greens, giving you the impression that you are not in the middle of Dorset but rather walking the fairways of Augusta National, Georgia! Lyons Gate offers a tough challenge of the best of golfers. There are no par fives but you'll still require all your shot making skills if you are to shoot a low score.
