Like many of the clubs in Dorset, Halstock Golf Club is home to a fine eighteen-hole course that is somewhat surprisingly short in length. But do not let the fact that it measures only 4351 yards from the first tee to the eighteenth pin put you off playing here. It is a course that we have only heard positive things about, and so surely that has to be sign that it is well worth a look.

Water comes into play on several of the holes, so good club selection and unflinching accuracy is absolutely essential if you are to put yourself in a position to score well. There are also plenty of trees all around that cast an imposing yet awesome shadow across the course.
