Broadstone (Dorset) Golf Club

Located in the tranquil, picturesque Dorset countryside is Broadstone golf club, a fine example of a heathland course, with many heather-lined fairways and copses abounding over its eighteen holes. Now in its one hundred and sixth year, it remains relatively unchanged and is arguably all the finer an experience for it.

It has a par of 70 which is quite generous given that it measures 6315 yards from tee on the first to pin on the last. Having been used for many English Tournaments also, it is clear it is held in high regard.

The par three eleventh is particularly memorable. From an elevated tee, you drive to the back of the green, hoping to avoid the thick rough and heather that lies in wait.
