Lanhydrock golf club, based just over a mile outside Bodmin, makes full advantage of the moorland countryside to create a visually stunning course. It is reasonably flat, so is easy on the legs, and makes full advantage of its numerous natural water features.

After a generous front nine, the closing half of your round tests every aspect of your game unapologetically. Holes ten to thirteen are, in particular, a difficult sequence of holes to negotiate. Do not be fooled by the apparently 'easy' par three at eleven. As well as a creek, deceptively placed just in front of the severely uneven green, but obscured by the thick rough, there are also overhanging trees guarding your approach.
