Sale Golf Club, founded in 1913, is a fabulous tree-lined course offering some of the finest golfing challenges to be found anywhere in Cheshire, Recently modified fours holes to make it even more challenging. The parkland course measures over 6100 yards (white tees) over eighteen exceptionally testing holes, for which it offers a generous par of 70.

Watch out for two holes in particular. The "Watery Gap" par-4 13th is a real thinker. It has a dog leg left with plenty of water and trees getting in the way. You will need at least 200 yards off the tee to stand a chance of seeing the green. The seventeenth, "Bunker Hill", is a par 3 with a small green surrounded by huge deep sand-traps.
