Portal Golf & Country Club

Still a relatively young course, Portal has matured marvelously over the 14 years it has been in existence. The Championship course was even voted 'Golf Course of the Year' in 1995, aged only five, and has established itself as one of the finest in northern Europe.

It was designed, along with its clubhouse by Donald Steel and offers arguably the best service and presentation in the north west of England for both individual golfers and corporate groups. Together with sister courses, Premier and Ardene, and the largest indoor golfing academy in the United Kingdom, Portal's golf complex has everything that the golf enthusiast could possibly want: fine courses with great views of the countryside, an excellent clubhouse and superb service.
