There is much to interest golfers of all capabilities and handicaps at the Brackenwood golf course. Like all of the other municipal courses in the area, it is exceptionally well looked after and maintained, and belies the fact that it is indeed primarily for public use. It provides a testing but on the whole forgiving round, so beginners will certainly enjoy what it has to offer. It is also easy-walking so won't wear out the leisure-golfer.
At over 6300 yards it is a good length and offers a par of 70 for its eighteen holes. The cost of a round is also exceptionally good-value at £11 per round and concessions for Juniors and OAP's. GREEN FEE KEY: £1-£15=£ £16-£30 = ££ £31-£50 = £££ £50+ =££££ |
