The course itself is very enjoyable and doesn't leave you feeling drained after your round. It is easy walking and has a number of gently challenging holes to keep you on your toes. The wide fairways also give you the impetus to open the shoulders a little, which is always nice.

It is absolutely ideal for beginners and youngsters to get into the swing of things, so to speak, yet will still challenge the better player. Interestingly, the course was designed by Ray Paton, the designer of astroturf mats who goes by the name of 'Astroman'!
