Only three miles from Leighton Buzzard, the home of the colourful European Tour professional, Ian Poulter, you can find Aylesbury Vale Golf Club. Still reasonably young, having only opened its doors to golfers for the first time in 1990, it has matured very well in such a short space of time and provides a sound test to players of all standards and levels of ability.

It is laid out on mainly flat parkland, which is just as well as its total length - some 6612 yards - makes it quite a long course to plot your way around. The rewards are there to be had though if you are patient enough to take it on.
