Studley Wood was designed in 1996 by Simon Gidman and has matured remarkably quickly in spite of its young years. A stunning woodland course, it will cause problems for any player, whether high or low handicapper and will keep you on your toes throughout with plenty of hazards and challenges for you overcome to stand any chance of matching the par of 73.

This eighteen-hole wonder is a former deer park and there is always the chance that your round will be brightened up by the presence of some wandering wildlife. However, with five lakes, plenty mature oak trees and undulating fairways, there is already plenty to feast your eyes and minds upon.

How to Get there
6 miles east from the city centre of Oxford, on the outskirts of the village Horton Cum Studley. From the north leave the M40 at junction 9 and head for Islip 2nd exit of the A34. From the south leave M40 at junction 8 following signs for Oxford on the A40, at Headington Roundabout turn right for Barton and the cemetry. Right left at off set crossroads follow signs fo Studley Wood golf Club.
