Stowe Golf Club is a private, members only golf club and was founded in 1974, so this year celebrates its 31st birthday. It is encouraging to see that it still remains as popular a choice with the discerning golfer today as it did back in the mid-Seventies when it first opened its doors at Stowe School, and the active membership it continues to enjoy is testament to the high quality of this fine course.
It is laid out on some lovely parkland and provides a solid test to all those who are members there. Although only nine-holes, it can be played as an eighteen-hole round for which it offers a standard scratch of 63 over 4,500 yards. GREEN FEE KEY: £1-£15=£ £16-£30 = ££ £31-£50 = £££ £50+ =££££ |
