Sonning Golf Club was founded in 1914 and since then has established a fearsome reputation for itself here in the tri-county region of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
It has been the venue for many local county championship matches, and is held in high regard by golfers from all over, particularly those who make up its large membership. Its fairways are quite wide and there are not a great deal of bunkers, so in that respect you would think the course was easy to play. Guess again! The greens are quite contoured and multi-tiered so your putting skills will be tested to the full. It is a pleasant course and a good challenge to golfers of all levels of ability.
