Just on the outskirts of the small town is Shrivenham Park Golf Club, home to a fine, challenging and hugely demanding course. It is laid out on mainly easy walking parkland, so it doesn't weigh too heavy on the legs, whilst the signature hole is the par 5, seventeenth, a testing dogleg that the big hitters will try and cut. Everyone else should lay up short for a slightly longer, but safer, approach to the green.

It offers eighteen holes that stretch for 5,713 yards from the tee on the first hole all the way to the pin on the last, but the par of 69 is a good indication that there will be plenty to keep you on your toes throughout.
