Hurst Golf Club

Hurst Golf Club, founded in 1977, is situated between Reading and Twyford and is signposted from Hurst village. It is a parkland course that is not as lucky as some of the other courses in the area in that it does not enjoy massive amounts of investment and relies on the income from local golfers and those travelling from further afield.

With that, the club strives to make sure the course is enjoyable for all levels of golfer. It is an enjoyable course and, though not overly long, has a few surprises up its sleeve. The sixth hole is probably the best. It is a dogleg right where you have the option of playing safe or cutting the corner and going for broke - great fun!
